The Nature Connection is an environmental-education nonprofit in Hotchkiss serving Delta County, offering both day camps and overnight options for kids. Weekly themed camps include fishing, rock climbing, art and nature, mountain biking and backpacking, using local parks, lakes and trails; younger kids (ages 4-6) attend Little Wilder day camp (Mon-Thu, 9am-3pm), while older kids (11-14) can join overnight wilderness backpacking. Scholarships are available.
