The Little Theatre On The Square, a professional theatre in Sullivan, runs Broadway Boot Camp each summer through its Future Stars education program: a week of acting, singing and choreography taught by working theatre professionals, ending with a showcase on the Little Theatre stage. Two sessions are offered — June 8–13 and August 3–8 — and students may attend one or both, since each week uses fresh music and choreography; campers also see a Theatre for Young Audiences performance during their week. Camp meets daily 9:00am–12:00pm. The education program serves students in grades K–12 and has run since 1995.

I must say I was impressed with all the people acting and singing. Rapunzel was the highlight of the play. Her ability to sing and dance was awesome. All the other actors were very fine in their role. The set and the play was outstanding. We are coming back. Such a great way to expose a child to culture. LOL. Afterwards, Sophia and my granddaughter was taking pictures with each actor. She was quite smitten.

They give you a fifteen minute intermission to go to the bathroom or buy cookies/drinks. I couldn’t really remember the movie which came out in 1980! The actress who played Dolly’s role sounded like her.
