The Little Farm
Private
The Little Farm in the Redlands area of Miami is a petting farm and 'agri-education' venue, operating since 1978, where visitors interact with goats, sheep, pigs, cows, ponies, rabbits, and poultry, take pony rides, and explore a butterfly garden and apiary. It primarily hosts school field trips, private events, and seasonal events such as a pumpkin patch and spring egg hunts, and is open weekends by appointment. A dedicated kids' summer camp is not evidenced on its site.

Powered by GoogleWe love the Little Farm. We go about twice a year, and always have such a fun time! It is perfect for kids aged 2-10. We love the petting zoo, pony rides, and the fact that you can get up close and personal with different types of farm animals. This year we went for the Easter celebration and it was perfect! Not too many kids, so everyone got personal time with the Easter Bunny and sufficient eggs during the Easter egg hunt.
Very cute! Went here for a bday party and we had the whole farm to ourselves. Loved all the animals. Not sure if the donkeys leg was hurt or not but all of the other animals looked very well taken care of. Lots of goats!!! A bathroom on site. Playground on site. Pony rides, horseback riding.
Peaceful, small, and well kept farm! We took our 2 year old daughter and she had such a great time. The farmers were friendly and accommodating. If you need something or want to see something specifically, just ask them! Animals all looked well taken care of. I recommend taking your own food! They do sell water, drinks, popsicle, other local things.
We took our 7 month old son to the farm to be able to see and pet some farm animals. The farm experience was amazing, and the staff were very friendly and understanding! The animals seemed happy and we get to meet the eldest pony they have ! We went in December so they had a Santa! I highly recommend anyone with children to visit this farm, it is not crowded and spacious and offers a lot for children!
Beautiful, quiet farm away from the busy city. It was very spacious and had numerous farm animals. I enjoyed walking around and exploring this quaint little farm. The animals were friendly and recognized people. They would come up to you and seemed to be well socialized. The play areas were small but my children enjoyed them and favored the wooden jungle gym. The parking situation was confusing and needed more signage but otherwise everything else was great. I would also suggest that they sell some snacks/food because they are so far from any fast food place. I suggest bringing your own food to eat at the picnic tables.
