The Green Tambourine is a music school at 711 S. 50th Street in West Philadelphia that runs week-long music and art day camps for ages 5-10, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., across five weeks in June, July and August. Campers spend half the day on ensemble rehearsal, songwriting and foley sound stories and half on visual art projects such as printmaking, mosaics, string art and watercolor, with outdoor park time built into each day. Tuition is $425 per week, no before- or after-care is offered, and several 2026 weeks are full with waitlists.
