The Grand Theatre in Salt Lake City (at Salt Lake Community College) runs GrandYouth, a two-week summer theatre intensive for students ages 12-19. Across four four-day tracks, participants train with professional theatre artists in performance and technical theatre (including lighting and sound design) and can enroll in one or more tracks.

Now I am here as a college student and I walk past this place with an overwhelming amount of nostalgic joy! Love this place, the tickets are well priced and affordable! If you love entertainment this is the place, sometimes I've seen them even being snacks for those who want to participate in the theatre. Very great place, excited for the Green Day American Idiot thing that they are bringing soon. I love this place, its a big theatre, great to bring friends and family, if your a student you either get in for free or pay for a ticket with a nice discount as well as some discounts for your friends and family too. The front desk for the theatre have some really nice helpful staff, the floors are also really clean. Love love love! Yes yes yes! Absolutely amazing here, if I were you and your a student, come to the theatre here and take advantage of the opportunities here for the discounts and sometimes free passes! It's totally worth it, I love the stuff here is awesome!!
