Powered by GoogleWhat an incredible place for our son! He gets exactly what he needs academically with each subject taught at his level for that specific subject; whole-self support from staff, teachers, and community; and wide-ranging enrichment from optional extracurriculars. As a family, we receive excellent communication, plenty of opportunities to be involved (or not) with school events and decisions, and the warm support of other parents and caretakers. Plus, the kids all support each other across individual backgrounds and grade-levels—They are happy here—and happy together! If you are considering a gifted school for your child, definitely visit The Gifted Collective!
After five years in public school, my autistic son was struggling in ways no child should have to. He was constantly bullied, often sat alone at lunch, and never truly felt accepted. Every day was hard for him. He always focused on the negative, came home exhausted and discouraged, and regularly told me he didn’t want to go to school. As a mom it was heartbreaking to watch and not be able to help. The day of my meeting with Adam, my son was determined to be online, we didn’t even make it half way through the meeting before he said “man, I really want to go here” and if you knew my son, that was a huge deal to both his dad and I. From the very beginning, this school provided something he had never experienced before understanding, kindness, and genuine inclusion. Instead of dreading school, my son now wakes up happy and wants to go every single day. He is bubbly, positive, and finally feels like he belongs. The environment at The Gifted Collective is supportive, calm, and clearly designed with neurodivergent children in mind. The staff truly see and value each child as an individual. My son is no longer just “getting through” the day, he is thriving emotionally and socially, not just academically. The difference this school has made in his confidence and happiness is incredible. For families with children who have struggled in traditional school settings, I cannot recommend The Gifted Collective enough. This school gave my child back his joy for learning.
As a grandparent of a twice-exceptional (2E) child, I can’t say enough good things about this school. After years of frustration in the public school system, where they didn’t know how to support both his giftedness and his learning challenges, this school has been a complete turnaround. They truly individualize the learning experience. My grandson is finally getting what he needs. He gets challenged where he excels and support where he struggles. This fall, he’ll be entering 7th grade taking Algebra, and I’m confident he will soar. The 1:1 attention, small setting, and understanding staff have already helped him flourish academically and emotionally. This school doesn’t just educate, they see the whole child. I’m deeply grateful.
The Gifted Collective is an amazing resource and a testing center for gifted children. I got my 7 year old son tested with them and he felt very at ease and did great! Thank you Gifted Collective!
When you walk through the door of The Gifted Collective, you first see shelves holding a wonderful array of books and materials designed to entertain and educate curious learners. Then, when you meet Adam and learn more about the services and classes offered, you will know why this place deserves more than 5 stars!
