The DoSeum is San Antonio's children's museum, and its summer camps engage campers in STEM, the arts and literacy through weekly themed sessions such as paleontology, engineering and performance. Camps are grouped into three age bands - 3-4, 5-7 and 8-11 - with topics getting more advanced for older groups, and children must be within a camp's age range by its first day. Sessions for ages 5 and up run 9:00am-3:00pm; camps for 3- and 4-year-olds run 9:00am-12:00pm unless extended care is added.

True to its name, the museum encourages interaction and exploration, allowing kids to actively participate in exhibits throughout nearly every room. The downstairs area features a miniature town complete with a H-E-B, Whataburger, and car wash, creating an imaginative and interactive experience for young visitors. Outside, children can enjoy a bubble play area as well as a separate water play space designed for toddlers, making it an excellent destination during the summer months. One of the highlights of our visit was the newer dinosaur exhibit. Seeing the life-sized dinosaurs, their movements, and the scale of their bodies was both impressive and educational. The upstairs area was especially popular with the children due to its numerous hands-on activities. They enjoyed designing and building their own city, exploring the ball tube exhibit, and examining insects up close. Each activity encouraged creativity, learning, and exploration. Overall, this museum offers an outstanding experience for families and provides hours of entertainment for children of various ages. I would highly recommend it for a fun and educational family outing.

The sheer amount of interactive activities is really impressive and was perfect for our kids' ages. It’s one of those rare places where they can truly get hands-on with everything, which created loads of great memories for us. From the Spy Academy and Little Town inside to the massive Big Outdoors water and climbing areas, there is plenty to keep a large family busy for hours. It is well-organized, clean, and feels very modern. If you’re in San Antonio with children, this is a must-visit spot that balances learning and pure play perfectly!
★Lori CoxHalf of the exhibits were broken today, and for a children’s museum that prides itself on hands on exhibitions that’s so disappointing. They don’t temper the amount of guests do it was so crowded that it made it difficult to see or “do” anything that wasn’t out of order. Every space smelled like a dirty diaper. Worst children’s museum experience we’ve ever had. Felt completely ripped off after $20 each for nothing and kids left underwhelmed.
