SeaWorld San Antonio runs its own education camps inside the park, split between weeklong day camps and five-day overnight resident camps. Day camps are grouped by grade - Young Explorers (K-1), Habitat Helpers (2-3), Wildlife Warriors (4-5) and Ocean Adventure (6-8) - running Monday to Friday 8:30am to 3:30pm, alongside a half-day Small Wonders programme for ages 3-4 in which a parent attends; campers visit animal exhibits daily, feed sea lions, touch stingrays and a shark, make animal enrichment, ride coasters subject to height requirements and spend a morning at Aquatica's Walkabout Waters. Resident Expedition Camp for grades 6-8 and Career Camp for grades 9-12 run Sunday 2:00pm to Friday 10:00am with on-site dorm lodging, meals, field trips and airport or train transfers included; Career Camp is a hands-on look at animal-care work and an Advanced Career Camp covers veterinary science, animal training and conservation. The park states its camps are accredited by the American Camp Association and licensed by the state of Texas as a youth camp, and counselors are trained in youth development, behaviour management, abuse prevention, lifeguarding, CPR, AED and first aid.

There are awesome roller coasters to thrill the adrenaline seekers, and a kiddie land for the younguns. Food is delicious and accessible. Water is free at all refill stations so you can stay hydrated in the Texas heat/humidity. Definitely recommend to ANYONE and EVERYONE! also, plan on a mulit-day pass so you don't miss out on anything!!
★★★★★ShauneyGirlI enjoyed SeaWorld in San Antonio. I would suggest purchasing tickets early. You will find discounts and combos like park entry and food. They have a Pre-K ticket (I think thats the name) where children under 5 can enter free, military and teacher discounts as well. We didnt purchase the ticket wear you can skip the line, but it is a great investment. No waiting in line for rides. Wear comfortable shoes, a sunhat/baseball cap/sunvisor and sunglasses. Plenty of parking. (Discounts if you purchase early) They have scooters for the elderly ($$$), and strollers ($$) for rent located in the area after you go through the metal detectors. There are lines for strollers/wagons and on the left of that are lines for individuals without them. Charging stations, resting areas, restaurants, juice stations, Build a Bear, games and boutiques all around the park. In some areas you will find employees walking around selling beverages, souvenirs and snacks. There is a kiddie area that has rides and a sprinkler area for the littles so bring a bathing suit, towel and a change of clothes. There are specific sea animal shows at different times in different areas of the park and a fireworks show on specific days. We had an amazing time. Exhausted by the end of the day.
★★★★★Jonathan FoulkChecked out SeaWorld San Antonio while staying in the area. I’m a huge fan of the SeaWorld parks in Orlando and San Diego, so I was excited to experience this location as well. I visited on a Friday and the park was packed with band students, but I purchased a season pass along with Quick Queue Unlimited and had virtually no wait for any rides all day. Totally worth it. Uber drop-off and pickup was also very easy and convenient. My favorite coaster hands down was Steel Eel, along with Barracuda Strike, the newer family coaster that flies over the water — such a fun ride experience. Barracuda Strike is the tallest and fastest inverted family coaster in North America. Manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard, the coaster stands 90 feet tall, reaches speeds up to 44 mph, and features 1,800 feet of track with thrilling high-banked turns over the park’s water ski lake. The park was also extremely clean, especially the bathrooms, which really stood out to me. I was a little disappointed with the dining experience as the food locations seemed understaffed and the lines were very long throughout the day. One of the highlights for me was the orca whale show. I was extremely impressed, and it’s great to see the work SeaWorld is doing to help protect and care for these incredible endangered animals. Other than the food lines, it was a great day overall and I’ll definitely be back during my next visit to San Antonio.

We were very impressed by the park and really enjoyed our day. There is so much to do in the park and food at the seven seas festival was delicious! Loved the roller coasters and spent some time learning about sea life as well. Parking is convenient.

The tidal wave pool...the swinging bird, the rollercoasters...the food.. the aquatica center and all the animals and manta rays...and the dolphins, and the sharks, the PENGUINS! DID U GO SEE THE PENGUINS?? I WANT ONE! But yea...definitely worth the drive from Lubbock. Even if just for the weekend for my sons 6th birthday. He loved it. The best part? My daughter came with her family and the grandsons had A BLAST! We are currently at a restaurant eating and one of the grandsons is already asleep in here 😆🤣💪🏽💯I didn't have any room to take anymore damn pics on my phone. Its full from our trip to Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and the Bahamas a few weeks ago.
