Powered by GoogleWe recently had my daughter’s 7th birthday here and she had the most amazing time! Angela took care of every little detail , from the personalized signs to the curated party take home gifts and she did an incredible job. She planned a fun and engaging series of crafts that kept all the girls busy, excited and happy and they got to take home some great art and memories!! We will definitely be back to explore all that she has to offer in this beautiful space !!
We held my daughter's 7th birthday party at The Creative Child Studio. We had a lovely experience with Angie in her studio. The space is lovely, calming, and dedicated only to the party. Her decor and art projects for my daughter's ocean themed party were lovely. We even had to ask her to provide snacks at the last minute and she happily agreed. The snacks were healthy and yummy for a child's party. We highly recommend!
Y’all. If you are a parent of young children - I am pleading with you, for the love of Taylor Swift - bring your littles here. We decided to visit the Creative Child Studio on a whim, it was one of those “please take these children far away from me for at least an hour” situations for my husband, so we got in the car and I started driving in search of adventure. And boy, when I tell you we found it. We were able to walk in to Creative Child Studio - no appointment, no specified time that needed to be agreed upon beforehand, just walked on in. The owner greeted us and immediately gave us the tour of her beautiful little space, offering all kinds of crafts for my 5 and 2 year olds to partake in. We asked for the hour, but honestly we were there longer and it FELT like 5 minutes (if you saw that I wrote that I HAVE A TWO YEAR OLD, you would understand the impact of that statement). We painted canvas, painted with watercolor, used paint markers, my son made a necklace and a sun catcher and my daughter organized beads and stacked blocks. While my son and I were working on finding JUST the right bead to finish off his sun catcher, I looked over and realized that the amazing owner was READING TO MY DAUGHTER. And the crazy thing is that the feral little creature was entranced. I would pay any amount of money, people. This is less “business” and more “you were overtired and overstimulated and brought your kids to your sister’s house, and your sister GETS IT and gives you a break” kind of vibes. I’ll end with an actual quote from the 5 year old: “Mom, I want to live there!” We will one thousand percent be going back, hope to see you there!
We just had my daughter’s 6th birthday party here! My girl is art obsessed and wanted an art party so bad. I contacted Angie (owner) months ago and she was very responsive and full of ideas, options, and accommodations. We were blown away when we walked in. The space is gorgeous and perfect for little kids. She allowed my daughter to choose which 2 art projects they would do during her party. All the kids (kindergartners and a couple 3 year olds) had a blast. A few kids were asking their parents if they could have a party there too. Angie has a few packages available for parties—one of which was her providing the snacks, decor, and favors. It was SO EASY. I showed up with a cake and that was it. The favors were high quality and above and beyond normal party favors. I would highly recommend this studio for birthday parties but also—I fully intend on bringing my daughter there for open hours just to create art and learn more about art in general. If you have a child who loves arts and crafts please check it out! Let’s support a single Momma’s small business! Her daughter was there and was helpful with the little kids. Very sweet kid. She even read them a story. We can’t wait to go back!
**A MUST SEE PLACE in Wilmington, NC** Such a beautifully decorated, casual place to be creative and chill with the kids!! They also do an after school program. My kids loved painting and the owner Angela is the nicest person, so patient with the kids and she helps them create whatever their little hearts can imagine!
