Cassidy Theatre at 6200 Pearl Road in Parma Heights is a community theatre founded in 1974 by then-mayor Paul W. Cassidy and named for his wife Elise. Across more than fifty seasons it has produced over 300 shows, and it offers spring, summer and fall arts-education programming for youth, including a summer children's program, while also casting young people in its regular productions.
