The Berry Patch Preschool

Both of my children had a wonderful experience at the Berry Patch Preschool! When I came to pick them up each day, they didn’t want to leave. Miss Sherri truly loves working with children and makes each day fun and exciting. She keeps the kids engaged doing all kinds of art projects, sensory and imagination games, ABC and 123 activities, listening and story time, lots of outdoor play in her own backyard and in the park across from her house. In the spring, the children plant a vegetable garden, dig in the dirt, explore the science of plants, and can play with worms! Then Sherri prepares the veggies that they grew, and the kids can eat them for lunch! Every holiday is a fun event with lots of holiday-themed educational activities to make learning fun. Summers include a soccer camp in the mornings which helps with coordination, teamwork, and basic soccer skills. My son has a peanut allergy, and Sherri was very careful to make sure that he was not exposed to peanuts at school. Most importantly, I felt very safe leaving my children with Sherri. I knew they were going to be well cared for and supported physically and emotionally. When they graduated, both of my kids were prepared for kindergarten and transitioned smoothly. We feel very lucky to have been part of the Berry Patch community.

All three of my children attended The Berry Patch Preschool, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Sherri is by far the best teacher out there. Her personal and nurturing learning environment made such a difference that we couldn’t find anywhere else. My kids were incredibly well prepared for kindergarten. They developed a love of reading and expressed their creativity through fun and meaningful art projects. One of our favorite parts was watching them help maintain the garden — such a special way to teach responsibility and hands-on learning. Ms. Sherri always made my children feel so special — Even their birthdays, which were celebrated in such thoughtful and memorable ways. My kids couldn’t wait to see Ms. Sherri because every day was filled with fun, hands-on learning, and changing of the monthly themes kept things fresh and exciting. The Berry Patch Preschool created a strong educational foundation while still allowing my children to simply enjoy being kids. We’re so grateful for the care, creativity, and dedication that made their early years so positive. I would wholeheartedly recommend it to any family looking for a loving, enriching preschool experience!

The Berry Patch is such an incredible preschool program. My son is thriving and learning so much from his teachers. Sherri Berry creates a warm and loving environment and treats every child like they are her own. It is so comforting knowing I am dropping my son off with such a caring team. The program is so affordable and the longer hours are so wonderful for working parents. I really think it helps prepare them for the longs days in kindergarten as well. I feel like my son is getting such a well rounded education full of imaginative play, multi sensory projects, art, and curriculum that is preparing him for success when he enters kindergarten. I am so happy with the Berry Patch and can’t wait to send my daughter here when she gets older.

Both of my children attended The Berry Patch for preschool. Ms. Sherri is an absolute gem. Her extended hours were great for me, but it never felt overwhelming for the kids. I love that she exposed them to learning in many different ways and they got a lot of outdoor time. When it came time for kindergarten, the kids were sad to leave, but fully prepared to move on. As of this review, my kids are 11 and 13. They still talk about her lunches and they love when we run into Ms. Sherri around town!

I can’t say enough about the quality of the Berry Patch and Sherri Berry at the helm. I had three of my children attend the Berry Patch and they all couldn’t wait to go to preschool! She is incredibly organized and structured, engaging the children with a full sensory experience and themed activities. She also manages to slip academics in her lessons in such a fun way. I STILL have so many of the crafts and books they made. She takes an abundance of pictures in context. My girls, two of whom our adults now, speak so fondly of the memories they’ve had at the Berry Patch. They were beyond ready for kindergarten. I am thankful for the influence Sherri Berry has had on my children’s lives. You will be blessed to have your child attend the Berry Patch!
