The Art Base is a nonprofit community art center in Basalt that offers youth visual-arts programming, including after-school art clubs and popular summer art camps for children of all ages, plus mentorships and internships for high-school students. Scholarships are available for all art programs, and the organization provides substantial free programming.

I attended this incredible local Colorado ladies artist’s exhibition, and it didn’t disappoint. The curation of the gallery is superb and they even teach some classes here. ★★★★★Miles CraftI did a summer camp here and it was really fun. This place has local art exhibits that are switched out fairly often. It has public bathrooms and water fountains at it too. It is open to the public and is a nice art gallery.
