TexARTS is a nonprofit musical-theatre academy in Lakeway serving the Lake Travis area with week-long summer camps for ages 2-18 in musical theatre, acting, singing, dance, and visual arts. Half-day camps (ages 5-8) and full-day camps (ages 8-11) end with a Friday mini studio performance, and specialized performance and technical-theater camps serve older students.

Powered by GoogleAbsolutely outstanding!... I grew up in one of the largest cities in the county and I know theater. This production was in the top two that I've ever seen. The TexARTS theater is a fantastic & intimate theater.
This show will put you in the mood for Christmas like no other! The cast is absolutely A+ and I couldn’t give it a higher recommendation! Our couples’ Bible Study group attended together and it was so much fun!!
The theater is a small venue which I like. My expectations far exceeded what I thought I would see though! Beautiful singing, clear music and speaker tech, and the dancing was wonderful. The stage production was directed well and in tune with the orchestra. Overall, I give a five star rating!
Been passing this theater off and on when traveling through town. I finally looked into attending a show, and "White Christmas" was on the bill!!! So I finally bought tickets. From the moment we walked in, to the moment it was over, it was a fabulous experience!!!! We were greeted at the door right away, and given the layout. They have a small snack and wine bar, you can BUY A BOTTLE OF WINE TO TAKE IN!! WIN - WIN. Was leary of the seats, as we got last row since I got last min. This theater is intimate, and I promise the last row is like the front row of any larger venues!!! In fact several people mentioned it was their favorite row to sit, as they can see every detail of the play. They also have table/cocktail seating at the front of the stage area where you can sit at a table with nice chairs, but I have to say I really dig where we were at! (No one judging my wine bottle haha) Anyway, onto the play. The entire cast was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G! It was like they werent acting, it was so natural to them all!! The singing, on point!!! Truly! The dancing numbers, costumes, scenery, all so great. One of the main actresses wasnt feelingbwell, so an understudy stepped in, it was still perfection! Im so glad I wasn't on the front row, as the play ended I literally whistled, stood up, cheered, I may have been kicked out for being too loud on the front row haha!!! Was hoping you could meet them all, and congratulate them, but not sure it they maybe did that after we left. Little surprise touches made it even more special! I cant believe it has taken me this long to get tickets, and Ill for sure be back. This is all I've been talking about at all my shows lately haha. It takes me 2 hours to get there, but soooo worth it! Wish there was an applause sound when you read this haha, they all deserve it, the entire cast and crew!! Well done yall!!!
Went to their Black Box theater and saw the "Tick Tick... Boom" musical theater production. Very impressive and intimate facility (192 fire-code occupants in the theater). Their stage area has a live band room that adds a unique experience for their musicals. Great lighting and sound. Parking in the front is good but tight. Parking in the back is more roomy. Quaint lobby for concessions before the show and during the matinee. Nice lounge area for enjoying a wine or beer before the show. They do workshops for children and the prices I saw are reasonable. They also rent out space for meetings and classes. I'm not a theater person but this experience did move me several times and I do plan on coming back for their next production.
