Powered by GoogleTender Years Hampden is phenomenal!! Our two year old started there in dragonflies which was his first time in a childcare facility, so it took him a little to warm up. The teachers inside the classroom, Miss Abby and Miss Destiny, and outside the classroom made him feel safe and secure. In about a month, he was talking about school and all of his friends. His speech improved along with him learning to count and singing his alphabet. Not only was he learning, but he was also being cared for and loved. Now, he’s three and in grasshoppers. His teachers Miss G and Miss Latiffa are absolutely wonderful! They are showing him the same love and care for him as Miss Abby and Miss Destiny did. Our child is now speaking sentences and has come home with a new vocabulary almost every day it seems. He’s learning to trace letters, lines, and just learning about the world around him. They have also helped a lot with potty training. They offered great advice for us when we started potty training. We were determined to get him potty trained by the new year (2026).When I took him back to school after the break, I updated his teachers and explained he was in underwear. They rolled with it and helped keep it consistent for him which is what he needed. When we get home from school, he pretends to be his teachers because they have such a great impact on him. He comes to school confident and proud now. There are no more tears at drop off which makes a mom and dad happy.
DO NOT BRING UR CHILD TO THIS DAYCARE. This daycare is filled with very unprofessional individuals who care more about drama then the well being of ur actual child. My niece was sent to the emergency room due to the fact that the staff in her classroom failed to pay attention to the fact that she was overheated and dehydrated. Not only did they take her outside for an extensive amount of time but they did so with no water, no breaks absolutely nothing. Not only did she FAINT but she was sent to the emergency as well. They have yet to take any responsibility nor even apologize for the incident. SAVE UR TIME AND YOUR MONEY! Ur child will be much happier and SAFIER somewhere else.
Miss Latifa is an incredible daycare teacher who has made such a positive impact on our son. She is kind, patient, and plans engaging activities that keep the children excited to learn. We’ve seen so much growth in our son since he started in her class, and it’s clear that she genuinely cares about each child’s development. The classroom is always clean, organized, and welcoming, which creates such a safe and comfortable environment. Our son absolutely loves going to school every day and talks about Miss Latifa with so much joy. We’re so grateful for her dedication and hard work. I highly recommend her class to any parent!
We love Tender Years Hampden! We previously took our son to a different daycare and had a horrible experience. Tender Years has been a complete 180 from that place. We were nervous to try another daycare but he transitioned very well and was given lots of love and support during the process. He started with Miss Raechelle and Miss Justine and they did such a fantastic job transitioning him to the daycare setting. They made him feel safe and secure in the new environment. Then this Fall he moved up to Miss Latifa and Miss G's room and has had a wonderful experience there as well. They helped him transition to the new room quickly and are always so patient and kind with him. They also provide an excellent variety of activities to keep him engaged and learning. Overall, we can't speak more highly of the quality of care he is getting. The communication from teachers and administration is great. We are so happy our son is not only in a safe and loving environment but that he's also learning so much more than what he would at most daycares. We highly recommend them!
My daughter has been attending Tender Years in Enola since she was 3 months old. She is always happy, clean, and well taken care of. One downside we had in the infant room was staff turnover and lack of consistency. However, toward the end of her time in there it was starting to be more consistent and Miss Becky was fantastic. She is now in a toddler room with Miss Raechelle and Miss Justine who are both phenomenal. She is always excited to go to daycare and frequently runs away from me to go to her teachers! They take great care of her and keep me posted throughout the day with pictures and updates of her care. Overall, it has been a great experience with Tender Years.
