Tallgrass Theatre Company is a West Des Moines community theater whose Seedlings Children's Theatre program offers eight weeks of week-long summer camps plus weekend workshops. Campers explore on-stage skills such as performance, improvisation, and audition technique, as well as backstage crafts, and Technical Theatre Boot Camps cover lighting, sound, props, costumes, and set construction.

★★★Tara NewtonThe venue is nice, but not for wheelchair users. Parking spot hash marks are on the wrong side for accessible vans, forcing drivers to back into the parking spot. The parking spot is also where the line forms for entry, so that is hazardous for everyone. There is no railing on the ramp/stairs combo entry, so be careful. My biggest issue is NO WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE BATHROOM STALLS! I had to ask a stranger for help getting into a stall to use the bathroom. (Thank you again, kind stranger!) Disabled people have to pee, too! And we very much prefer not to have to ask strangers for help on something so private. The performers removed a chair so I could watch the show. Thank you, performers!
