Central Iowa Music Lab (CIML) is a music-lesson studio in Des Moines whose lessons are "in session year round" and are "available to all ages and levels, and no prior experience or auditions are required." Its booking portal sells private lessons in guitar, bass guitar, piano, drums, voice, violin, viola, flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, euphonium and ukulele, in 30- and 60-minute lengths; the studio's own website adds that instruction is available "for virtually any musical instrument or voice as well as classes in music theory, songwriting, and more." Rock Lab is "a multi-week group session in which our students vote on a set of songs to learn and eventually perform (with the help of a skilled CIML instructor) as a band." The studio also runs the Rock 'N' Play Summer Camp for ages 6 to 12: campers "learn the basics of 4 instruments-guitar, bass guitar, piano, and drums", form bands by age, and play a final concert on the Friday; the camp is held at Westview Church in Waukee, IA. CIML has a second location at 440 6th Street, Waukee.
