Powered by GoogleOur daughter has seen such amazing growth, which boosted her confidence in the classroom at school. She excelled in the one-on-one, self-paced curriculum and the team at Sylvan has been her biggest cheerleader over the last two years! Thankful we had Sylvan as an additional support for her learning.
I was skeptical in the beginning. My son needed support that the school wasn’t fully addressing and I didn’t want him to fall further behind. Sylvan has been an incredible experience. Not only does my son enjoy the sessions, he is thriving and is building confidence in himself that he has done the work and is now seeing success and achievement. Th staff was so patient and transparent with me to keep me informed and involved in the process. I recommend Sylvan. Great investment!
We took our two daughters for tutoring for reading at Sylvan for about 5 months. They have been in a Spanish immersion school so needed to catch up on some English reading, phonics, etc. Our girls really enjoyed their time at tutoring, were engaged and we saw progress in their ability through day to day life as well as academics. The program manager, Matthew kept us informed on their progress and what the study focus was. Overall we had a great experience tutoring with Sylvan.
We had a great experience with Sylvan Learning Center in Lubbock, TX. My son started Sylvan in kindergarten because he was slow to read, falling behind in class, and lacked confidence. He just finished his last session in 2nd grade and is now reading confidently on his own, caught up with his class, and making good grades. I really appreciated the parent conferences every few months, which kept us informed not only on his academic progress but also his attitude and effort. We live an hour away, so we completed the last six months via Zoom, and it worked very well. He was a little resistant at first, but the token rewards motivated him and made sessions fun. I would absolutely recommend Sylvan to any parent whose child needs help with reading, confidence, or extra academic support.
Sylvan was a great experience for our family. My oldest was able to get the help in math that was needed to help her excel and become an honors math student in middle school. My son was also able to improve his already GT/honors scores so he could continue to excel at an even higher and faster rate than he normally would at school only. Sylvan has demonstrated to us that they can help them continue to grow, whether it is supplemental help or pushing higher at the rate they want to grow at.
