Lubbock Lake Landmark is a 336-acre archaeological site and natural history preserve in Lubbock, part of the Museum of Texas Tech University, protected as a National Historic Landmark. Its summer youth camps run in weekly themes that build day to day and are split into three groups: Going WILD for ages 5-6, Amazing Adventures for ages 7-8 and Prairie Explorers for ages 9-10, with one week devoted to Adventures in Archaeology. Older youth participate differently: volunteers ages 13-14 process and label materials in the lab, and teens 15 and up can assist with field excavations.

There are several trails to explore, concrete trails that are stroller friendly. There are many large sculpture that are amazing and kid friendly.
