My son has been taking piano lessons with Miss Ruth Weaver for almost 3 years now. He started when he was 5years old. Miss Ruth has been absolutely amazing the whole time. She started him with the basics and patiently worked with him through his ups and downs. She prepared him for and accompanied him to 3 wonderful recitals. She took the time to get to know him and prepares his lessons to capture his interest and strengthen his skill. Her calm personality and extreme musical talent create the perfect learning environment. She has inspired my son and he looks up to her. I am very grateful for Miss Ruth and the school.

My daughter loves taking lessons with Ms. Sye! She's very encouraging to her, quite patient, and explains concepts clearly. She's also a skilled performer. My daughter-- who plays the violin as well-- says, "I love that she also accompanies the violin group class! She always helps to make the concerts sound better. I think Ms. Sye is the GOAT!"

Mr. Ruffus at Suzuki Institute has been a wonderful music teacher for our children. They especially appreciate that he takes the time to teach more than just how to play the piano; he also weaves in the history of the piano and music itself, giving them a truly well-rounded musical education. He is patient, kind, and has a great sense of humor, which makes lessons enjoyable and approachable. Our kids feel encouraged rather than pressured, and they love that learning music with him is fun, not just about striving for technical perfection. Mr. Ruffus creates an environment where curiosity, creativity, and a genuine love for music can grow, and that has made a meaningful difference in their learning experience.

Former Sarasota Suzuki teacher here- I had a fantastic experience with this institution. The faculty truly felt like family—supportive, passionate, and dedicated to both students and each other. It's a warm, welcoming environment that prioritizes high-quality music education. I highly recommend this school to anyone looking for top-notch lessons and a strong musical community.🤘
