Peter knows all the best beaches and hikes and he goes the extra nautical mile to make every trip a memorable one. Bertha Stern is comfortable and sound. It's our son's all time favorite getaway and we didn't hesitate to bring our 3-month-old daughter along one year!

Peter is a delightful, thoughtful and knowledgeable captain who loves to share this special part of the world with others. He brings you to all sorts of cool caves, beaches and hiking areas, he’s a natural in the kitchen churning out great meals, and his boat is comfortable and cozy with multiple hang out and sleeping areas inside and out. Love the hammock! After several trips both with and without our kids, I can honestly say that Peter and his boat are a class act. No matter the weather, you’re always in good and safe hands with Cap’n Bloch!

Captain Peter is very skilled as a operator so you can be assured he will follow safe seamanship. I have always found that 2-3 days sailing is as refreshing as a week at a resort setting. Bertha Stern is a very responsive and fun sailboat to sail in all weather conditions and has been continually updated with new equipment. Give Captain Peter a chance to " set the hook" on a new tradition.

His joyful personality immediately puts you at ease and contributes greatly to the overall positive atmosphere on the boat. We sailed to islands, caves, and incredible beaches. We docked in private, scenic areas suitable for sunset beach walks or deck-top startgazing. Meals were always delicious, healthy and thoughtfully prepared. I can't say enough about our family outing on the Bertha Stern. We and our teenagers will gladly go again!
