Powered by GoogleWent here when I was a kid back in 2012, if Amy is still there it's probably still the best afterschool care ever lol
This is our first summer here and also the first summer for the new owners and honestly it's been great! My kids enjoy going and they keep them busy with so many outings or things planned on the calendar. The staff seems well organized and on top of the kids which makes me feel better since the age differences can vary and mine are on the young side. We are almost through the summer and we wouldn't hesitate to use this place again for next year. We don't need after-school but I would pick them if I needed it. Hoping these new owners keep the business.
I attended Sunny Days during my middle school years, and I’m at a loss for words to describe the incredible experience I had there with my friends and the amazing staff. Sunny Days was a place where I could unwind and escape the stress of school after a long day. The moment I stepped inside, everything felt better. I made new friends and created unforgettable memories that I cherish to this day. From playing games like UNO, wall ball, dodge ball, 3 step, basketball, tag, and more, to simply relaxing in the gym or outdoors, I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of my time at Sunny Days. When I say it was an experience of a lifetime, I genuinely mean it. Before Sunny Days, I had attended four other before/afterschool programs, but none of them compared. I eagerly anticipated Mr. Mark’s arrival in the big yellow bus, where we would laugh and share stories. Knowing that I had a place to look forward to after school was an incredible feeling. Sunny Days provided structure and guidance, regardless of our age. The thought of never experiencing something like this again, now that I’m in high school, breaks my heart and sometimes brings tears to my eyes. However, I will never forget the memories, friends, and laughter I made during my time at Sunny Days. Mrs. Amy and Mr. Mark are the perfect team to run a place like Sunny Days. Looking back, I reflect on my mistakes and actions, but Sunny Days played a significant role in shaping the young man I am today. I will never forget Sunny Days, Mrs. Amy, Mr. Mark, Mrs. Pam, Mrs. Patti, Ms. Abigayle, Ms. Hannah, Ms. Lulu, Ms. Sabrina, Ms. Rachel, and all the incredible staff. Sunny Days is a unique and amazing place where you’ll create unforgettable memories. It holds a special place in my heart, along with the incredible and amazing staff, and the wonderful owners, Mrs. Amy and Mr. Mark.
Amazing Place for All Children! If I could give Sunny Days After School 10 stars or even 100, I would. Mrs. Amy and Mr. Mark are the best people out there. It’s a place were you want to have your children, where caring is shown all over from the owners to the staff. The atmosphere is wonderful. A place where procedures, rules, and relevant information is clear, reminded, and posted. In all my years as an educator and parent, I have never seen a place like Sunny Days After School. My son’s self esteem improved, he will come home saying; mommy, I’m respected there, and he will go on and on about how he felt at SDAS. My only regret is not knowing about this caring place before. As a parent and educator I highly recommend Sunny Day After School. Thank you, Mrs. Amy, Mr. Mark and staff. ❤️🙏🏻
I went here as a kid from when I was in first grade untill 8ty grade. It was the best time of my life. The staff are excellent and are super friendly. The environment is super kid friendly. The kids lockers are separated out into 5 different rooms (could be less depending on the number of kids going) and it is determined by age. But you are only separated during lunch. Outside there are 2 basketball courts, a sandbox, a jungle gym, a slide, a Mary go round, and standard play ground equipment. Inside there is a gym (with soft gymnastics floor so you don’t get hurt if you fall) a foam pit and a trampoline. Every room has toys in it and you can bring your own to share. In the summer there is a “hot lunch” where at thall beginning of each month you fill out a chart picking out which of days you want their hot lunch (it’s always a dish from a local restaurant) you lay ahead of Time. We used to go on field trips almost every day to places kids love. (Chuck E. Cheese’s, the pool, the movies, ect.) This place is a thousand times better than any other day care center I’ve seen.
