Summertime Surf runs beach-based surf camps at Point Pleasant Beach, one of its locations along the Jersey Shore, teaching surf fundamentals, ocean skills and safety, with a yoga session to start each morning. Kids Surf Camp is a Monday-Friday short session of 3 hours a day for ages 7-14; Keiki Camp for ages 4-7 runs 2 hours a day, so neither covers a full workday. Camp graduates can move on to Kids Surf Club and, for advanced young surfers, Grom Team coaching. Sessions are booked online by the week ($495 as listed).

This year he went back and was thrilled with the lessons My wife and I borrowed a beach badge from them during the lessons for 2 days and we observed how they operate. That did not stop the instructors from encouraging Confidence in the ocean and on a board! My kid learned Winds, waves and beach conditions. Alex’s Positive attitude daily made it a pleasure to leave my child in there hands in an unpredictable situation ( OCEAN).
