Summer Haven Hideaway

This camp keeps changing the Google name because parents and employees from this summer have given it bad reviews. Employees have quit. Parents have removed their kiddos. First, the camp pictures are all old and not of the current location. The camp owes parents and former employees money. The camp has not paid multiple teachers worked overtime there - THIS SUMMER. The camp does not deliver what it promises in flyers and on the website. The “glam camp grounds” are atrocious. Campgrounds consist of a trampoline and 1 tent. They do not offer a promised snack shack or field trips. Toys are not age appropriate. There are random animals there that are not taken care of. Furthermore, the dog has scratched multiple kiddos. I would encourage asking background checks on employees. Ask for the beginning of summer. Do yourself a favor and drive by. It is adjacent to a Vape shop - if you walk Missouri- you can also join the kiddos on the playground via the alley. The business dubs itself veteran owned, woman owned LBTGE badged. I’m pretty sure none d these organizations want themselves badged with this business.

Miss Kathryn is a wonderful childcare provider. She will always pay the upmost attention to your little camper/child. My 4 children adored her, and over the years we have had the privilege of having her support their knowledge and development. We have not been able to be a camper because we live in Illinois. But when we found out about this camp my children are begging us to travel 2,000 mile to participate in this beautiful camp. That should speak volumes to how wonderful this very special childhood educator is!! We are not saying no at this point since spaces are still available lol. Thank you Miss. Kathryn for how truly amazing and special you are!!!

My kids had such a wonderful experience during summer camp. Miss Katherine is outstanding and her love for the kids is made so apparent each day. I loved seeing all the different fun & educational activities each day and felt so much better knowing this was how their summer was spent versus at home behind a screen. Highly recommend!
