My 11-year-old son has never played baseball before but recently became interested in learning. We signed him up for private one-on-one lessons with Rafael at SHB, and he loved it. Rafael did a great job correcting him while also encouraging him and pointing out what he was doing well. My son was able to have a private lesson with Scott and team. He was hesitant but afterwards was so glad he did it, as he learned so much just from an hour with the team. I say the team due to only booking with Scott but the team of instructors would help out as they saw things as well. some may be thrown off by that but each had their way of explaining and connecting that by the end of the session he was making way more solid contact and consistently. We know some more things to be working on and how to work on them now. I will say that Scott and his passion for hitting and TEACHING/HELPING a child sure shows up. He may be tough as he expects you to work to do what he says but when you do it, you will grow and learn. Again it was fun to watch because of the passion that Scott and his team brings towards helping the kids grow and get better. it was one of the best if not the best experience with training we have had. Its amazing when you find a resource like this! and while Scott is worth the extra he charges, dont be afraid to try some of the other instructors, Rami was commenting and helping tremendously as well. Take your kid here and watch them grow and get better!
