Stumptown Art Studio is a nonprofit community art studio in downtown Whitefish (est. 1995) offering weekly summer art camps for ages 3–16, with a new theme each week and classes meeting Monday through Thursday for about two hours a day. Sessions range from Art in Nature for young children to landscape painting and teen studio classes.

On the pottery side, there is a whole wall you can walk down and pick out whichever piece you'd like to paint. Prices rang from $5-$40+. There are plenty of paint colors to choose from, and each table has jars of clean water and a variety of paintbrushes the choose from. We have not done the glass fusing yet, but that looks awesome too! The staff is very friendly, and will show you around and walk you through the process if it's your first time. The atmosphere is artsy and relaxing, and makes for a great afternoon of being creative!

I've made a bowl, a mug, a plate, and another mug here. It's always a blast. It's relaxing and therapeutic to paint. It's good to go when there aren't as many people. I usually have to have some stretch breaks, cause my but hurts from sitting, but I still like the chairs! The people there are so friendly and nice!! There is good music too!!
