My son has been coming to strike 1 for a few years now and really enjoys learning new skills and practicing. The coaches are supportive and help keep him engaged.
Can’t say enough about the coaches and staff at Strike One pitching Academy. My son attended the Easter break camp and had the time of his life! Not only did he have so much fun, but he came home with new skills and appreciation for the game of baseball! Great job! Wish there were more companies out there that ran there business as well as these guys do!
Pitching, hitting, fielding... Whatever you want to learn or get better at, this is the place to go! I've seen all the coaches working with just about every level and they are always kind, encouraging, and insightful. I have to believe every player that goes here gets better. My child has improved tremendously and enjoys going as often as he can. Strike One was able to bring my son from pitching over the back stop to making his highly competitive high school baseball team in just over 1 year! Another year later and my son still loves this place and keeps improving. The day we go is his favorite day of the week.
I see post about kids on here and Sportsmanship, frankly that on you as a parent to teach your child as they are growing up. My son has been with these Coaches for years now and if anything they have improved his ability to be a better person, teammate and Ball Player. I really only focus on my son learning more about the sport with these guys. Making sure that they are doing their job to help him with his mechanics and understanding of the game. If anything they have also taught him about life lessons on winning/losing, understanding that as long as he makes an effort to apply what he has learned is good enough for them. Coaches are great, facility is amazing and knowledge of the game is beyond compare. Good luck finding better coaching in Simi Valley or surrounding areas.
