Stepping Stones runs summer day camp and overnight programs at Camp Allyn, a 47-acre site in Batavia for children and adults with disabilities. Activities include swimming, fishing, nature, adaptive archery, art, music and sensory programs, all adapted to each participant, with licensed nurses on site. Founded in 1963 as Greater Cincinnati's first camp for children with disabilities, it is a nonprofit.

★David WeldonStepping stones is the worst place ever. They are very bad. They’ve gone way down hill in recent years so in 2016 after 29 straight summers down there I left Stepping Stones. Recreation Unlimited is better. I don't want to talk to stepping stones. Camp Allyn sucks. Recreation Unlimited is better.
★Ryan DerbyMy son has autism and they sent him home due to him running from staff. The reason was that he is pullling more staff away than they can afford. The owner then proceeded to tell me how few staff they actually have (atleast 8 kids to 1 staff). This is not only illegal but how can a facility that only handles disabled children work at max capacity? (6 to 1) Also if they are having issues with staffing how many of those few adults are actually trained and qualified to work with children with special needs? They have also sent him home with swimmys on rather than diapers on along with a rash. Please do not send your child here right now. Hopefully it was better in the past and gets back to whatever values give this place 4.5 star rating.
