StarKidz is the after-school and summer camp program of StarMakers Dance Company, run out of a 10,000-square-foot studio on Hickory Hill Drive in Inman. A typical summer camp week includes at least three themed field trips; on campus days campers do games, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and dance and tumbling classes taught through the dance company. The after-school program adds a snack, an hour of homework help and supervised play until 6:00 p.m.

This is also our first year as part of the after school program. I initially had anxiety around the idea of my Kindergartener being picked up and riding a bus to StarKidz, but it has been seamless and organized. My child also takes dance and tumbling classes at StarMakers and the staff get her ready and send her to her classes on time so I don’t have to run out of work to get her there. The communication for both summer camp and after school has been excellent, the teachers and staff are wonderful and so sweet to my daughter, and we would highly recommend it to anyone as an after school and summer care option!
