St. George Youth Center YMCA

The St. George Youth Center is a Channel Islands YMCA facility in Isla Vista (serving the area since 1998) that provides a safe, supervised space for youth in grades 5-12, especially during after-school hours. It offers recreational, cultural, and leadership activities such as sports and pool/ping-pong tournaments, dance classes, teen late-nights and lock-ins, and field trips. It functions mainly as a year-round teen youth center rather than a dedicated summer camp.
