Powered by GooglePretty good facility for strength training. Several machines have multiple uses when adjusted. Not too busy between 9-11 am which is great. Many many free weights to use. Daily entrance fee for residents is $4, $6 for non-residents. Full basketball court, pool table, ping pong table, air hockey. Lots of cardio machines. Decent rec center in my opinion.
Visiting St. George for overnight trip to go to Zion today, want to find a cheap day pass for vacation work out. Only $4 per visit, the center is clean, the front desk are friendly, it wasn’t crowd at all at 8:30AM, have plenty of weight selection and all the fitness machine I need, highly recommended and budget friendly. Also have basketball court, rocket ball and swimming pool I believe.
Now that the gym has been expanded, it is a really great place to workout. Reasonably priced, as well.
The St. George Rec Center has become my daily refuge while living here. It’s welcoming, spotless, and has everything you need whether you’re easing into a workout routine or going full beast mode. The gym area is well-maintained, never overly crowded, and the staff genuinely make you feel like part of the community; always greeting you with a smile and keeping the space running smoothly. What I love most is how comfortable it feels to just be yourself here. There’s no judgment, just encouragement. The variety of equipment lets you mix things up (weights, cardio, even that quirky torso rotation machine I now swear by 😂), and the overall vibe is pure positivity. They’ve thought of everything here; four racquetball courts, a full-size basketball court, an auxiliary gym, and even a dedicated dance/spin room if you like to keep things moving to the beat. The childcare room is a huge plus for parents, and the lobby area adds a fun community touch with pool tables, foosball, air hockey, and table tennis. It’s the kind of space where everyone can find their lane, whether you’re training, playing, or just hanging out. If you’re in St. George and looking for a place to move, recharge, and feel connected, this is it. A genuine community hub that’s been one of the anchors of my time here — body, mind, and spirit.
We came into town for a girls trip and made a pit stop two mornings in a row to this rec center. It was amazing! The cost was so low for what you get in return. We took a Dance FIIT class (SOOOO FUN! The teacher really knows her stuff!), played racquetball both mornings, used the ellipticals, treadmills, and weight room, and even used this cool shaky machines that helps relieve pain in your joints! And this awesome metal “cage” helps stretch you out after a hard workout. We had an absolute blast!
