Sprouts Nature School is a year-round outdoor-education program in Madison offering weekly nature-based summer day camps for children ages 4-12. Camp days run 9:00am to 3:00pm Monday through Friday, with early drop-off from 8am and after-care until 4:30pm. Activities include foraging, fire building, cooking, arts and crafts, mindfulness, games, and outdoor exploration.

These programs are so unique - our daughter gets to be a kid playing in a park as programs don't seem overly structured, but they also offer so much - she cooks outside, creates things, and comes home raving about parks we should go to as a family that we didn't know about! Parents will understand when we say this - she NEVER complains about going to one of Ilsa's programs, which is how we know how much she likes them!

We were a little hesitant sending our awesome little firecracker to a brand new camp, especially not knowing Ilsa prior, but we couldn’t be happier that we did! Our 5yo loved everything from the arts/crafts to the adventures and of course the opportunity for new friends. She couldn’t wait to go back each day and has never slept so well (fresh air adventures can’t be beat). Of course a new group of kiddos rarely comes without some conflict, and we feel Ilsa handled those moments beautifully. We loved the end of week update with photos as well.
