SportsTyme is a multi-sport summer day camp for kids ages 5-12, with its DeLand location at DeLand Middle School. Since 2002 it has offered a rotating slate of sports including kickball, baseball, basketball, softball, volleyball, tennis, soccer, hockey, and football, with CPR/First-Aid-certified coaching staff and an emphasis on confidence-building and trying new sports.

We honestly weren't sure if she'd be into it, as while she is active, she sometimes doesn't want to do a lot of sports-based activities. We are so glad we signed her up! Not only does she absolutely love going, but Coach and all of the staff are very nice and friendly, are very good about communicating upcoming events/activities to plan ahead (such as Kona Ice Days, etc.,), and the variety of activities seem to be really enjoyed by our daughter. We also love that you can sign up for weeks at a time, or different weeks throughout the summer, as we do travel or our daughter goes to different VBS/camps each year. Definitely recommend that if you have kids, that you consider signing them up!
