★WeekendTravelerDisappointed. Have been with the club for years. It’s $2200 up front. Unsure what that money is for (not for the fields that’s for sure). Then within weeks you drop more money for a uniform. Then they are asking for more money for team fees and more money for tournaments. Within weeks you are dropping over 3k for soccer with the promise of all things, mostly just to play soccer. Then you go to games and your kid sits the bench as they play only their favorite 11 players. Total joke. Money grab. Every year it’s a different coach so the coach never gets to know the kids. Just gets worse the longer you are with the club. We wouldn’t recommend. Not worth the cost or frustration. Sad we invested for so long. Your kid is seen as a dollar and nothing more.
★Sara SimonWhat an absolute joke of a soccer league. I emailed the director weeks ago letting him know that we are relocating from out of state and wouldn’t be able to make all 3 tryout dates. Asked about makeup sessions and it’s a no. By the second tryout date all coaches had their minds made up. He went to tryouts and (mind you he is 9 has already played 2 years competitive with several championships) didn’t make any team. I messaged the director and he said that by the tryout session he attended there was only one spot left, and he “almost got an offer”. What was the point in having that session? To disappoint soooo many kids that went to that..??? What a horrible league. Will not be back at all.
★Jarrett HayesWas told prior to the season starting that my daughter would be able to play with her friends. Her friends were born in 2015 and she was 2016. Was put on a different team that was just learning the basics. She loved her team and coach, but after asking about the promise, again was told she’ll move up. I’m the end the promise was NOT followed through. My daughter has fun but didn’t gain much from games and practices since she already had the basics down. Tried being patient and work with sporting NE but kept getting ignored and lied too.
★Kyle WallaceI've personally played in and had my kids in many different soccer organizations. All of them have been either good or great. Sporting Nebraska FC is terrible by every measurable metric. The fields they play on are shoddy and parking is a nightmare. They play everywhere around the area except actually in Omaha, well on a rare occasion they play in Omaha. Completely disorganized league, coaches, it was all just a mess. I would never let my kids play in this organization again. It was my mistake to do it the first time. It won't ever happen again
