Spokane Aerial Performance Arts has taught circus arts in Spokane Valley since 2011, covering aerial silks, aerial hoop, static trapeze and stilt walking for children and adults. Its youth program is a beginners track for school-age kids K-12, with current students ranging from 6 to 18, taught in one-hour classes that build balance, body awareness, flexibility and strength. The studio has run stilt-walking camps in past summers, and stilt classes are free to kids already enrolled in other classes.

Powered by GoogleLove Spokane Aerial! I've been taking lessons here for 8 years and have grown so much in skill and strength. Fun performances throughout the year and many different events available for students to participate in.
My daughter has been loving Spokane Aerial! The staff and owner, Sherrie, have been great! So glad we heard about it from a friend!
My granddaughter has been involved in Spokane Aerial Silks for a few years now and we've loved the program! Sherrie and everyone involved is amazing and our experience has been wonderful! Such a positive and inviting space and it's always so amazing to see the amazing talent developed through this program and at all ages! Not many activities are able to foster so many levels of experience and put together a show the way Sherrie does!
I first met the owner Sherrie through coaching at a gymnastics camp. All the girls loved the silks rotation and it’s something they look forward to every year. I went and tried a beginner adult silks class of my own at the Spokane location and loved every minute of it! The staff and environment is super supportive and kind. Every time I was confused on a new move or needed a little extra help they were on it ready to help me grow and progress! I also attended their Halloween showcase and they put on such a cool production! So excited for their second location in Post Falls!
The woman that owns this business is mean and rude and does not appreciate her clients whatsoever. When you are a new person coming in no one greets you, you just sit in the front hoping someone will come approach you since they know someone new is coming in for the class but no and then I dared go ask for help and was told I needed to get off the floor it was for students only. I decided to let that pass and try to continue on for a couple more months but every interaction with her was just coldness and rudeness. I didn't really feel safe with someone like that teaching my daughter anything. The final straw was her having a power outage and not telling anyone so everyone showed up for class driving from far away places and we get there, of course she isn't coming out to tell everyone what is going on, no communication whatsoever. No text no phone calls, to tell anyone what was going on. Just her wandering around the dark building saying nothing to anyone. She doesn't care about your student, she just wants your money. When I was asking about the program, all I did was say hey could she start a week late because we are gonna be on vacation and she told me "we will just move on, there are plenty of people in line that want this spot," and that is the attitude that continued your child doesn't matter I will just get another body to fill the space. I doubt she even learned my daughters name the entire time she was there for three months.
