Powered by GoogleWe love Splitz! Coach Brigit who runs the classes is super friendly and my daughter loves her for the preschool open gym twice a month on Mondays! We also love Coach Riley for the official class. They teach the kids way more than just gymnastics… including waiting your turn, how to interact with the other kids, following directions, and stretching. I’m amazed at how Coach Riley handles 6-7 three year olds and what she’s able to help them do!
As a mother, I am truly disappointed by the way splitz gymnastics program handled a serious bullying incident involving my daughter, which should’ve been a safe supportive environment for young athletes turned into an emotional distressing experience for her instead of addressing the issue with accountability the administration chose to promote the other child involved to a higher level, in action that felt more like avoidance than resolution. Neither the other parent nor the instructors took the time to speak with me offer an apology or even check in on my daughter‘s well-being afterward , the lack of this communication and compassion speaks volumes about how lightly the situation was taken as parents we trust our children to these programs, not just to develop their skills, but potential sure they are treated with respect and kindness. I had hoped for leadership and valued emotional safety as much as physical performance but sadly, this was not the case here my daughter deserves, and every child deserves to train in an environment we’re bowling is not tolerated, and where issues, our hand, integrity, transparency, and empathy. I have pulled my child out of this program and enrolling her into a more safer environment. No parents should have to wash their child lose trust in a sport. They love because of poor management and negligence these instructors and administration at this establishment. I do not believe this establishment should stay in business. It was blatant Neglect and a complete lack of responsibility from those who are supposed to protect and guide our children. This organization has shown that is more concerned with the image and convenience then with accountability or moral Leadership any program that ignores bullying, dismisses parent concerns and refuses to uphold basic standards of professionalism should not be in business. And I will be contacting the board and Better Business Bureau.
I would not recommend this place for anyone. We attended Splitz for classes prior, but we ended up pulling them out due to the lack of quality of coaching. We recently attended the Open Splitz Gymnastics Day with our daughters. One of the “ so called coaches” who seems like a teenager high school girl, lacking professionalism made a comment to my older kid after she fell. “No Thank you, go get some other coach to help you !!!”. My daughter didn’t even ask for help after falling. She laughed and smiled about it but the comment made from that bully “coach” ruined her day and the whole outing for my daughters. Management said they ll address it with their worker, who I I refuse to call coach, as she needs coaching herself on professionalism and not bullying little girls . I won’t be trusting this place for Parents Night Out. I hope management truly address this issue and look after that quality of their hires. You can’t coach little girls if you lack manners, genuine behavior and professionalism. In addition, management could have simply made things right by having that girl apologize for my kid. All they offered was a refund, which we refused as the money won’t make up for my daughter’s unpleasant experience resulted by that Bully!!
Our family has been part of the Splitz community for several years, and we’ve had the pleasure of participating in a wide range of their programs including recreational classes, open gym, Ninja Warriors, and the competitive team. Each experience has been exceptional. The coaches and staff are consistently friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Since joining the team, our daughter has truly thrived, gaining not only skill and strength but also confidence and discipline. The support and guidance she’s received have made a meaningful impact on her growth, both as an athlete and a person. We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Splitz!
My daughters took rec classes here last summer, and I re-enrolled them this summer and we will be continuing. They LOVE coming to gymnastics and have never once complained. My younger daughter is in the preschool-aged classes, but my oldest daughter has made a ton of progress. The staff is friendly and the policies are very clear. I appreciate the makeup policy as we have had some conflicts with seasonal sports. On one day, I was super impressed with what I witnessed when a girl had decided to quit the gymnastics team. She had come to say goodbye to her teammates, and all of the staff and teammates were loving and kind. They let her know that they were always there and would miss her, but that they supported her in her choice. Since I have seen the opposite in other gyms (and other sports), it was nice to see that the Splitz community was so supportive.
