Space Camp at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville is a week-long residential STEM program launched in 1982, offering astronaut-style training for kids ages 9 and up. Programs are tiered by age—Space Camp for ages 9–11, Space Academy for 12–14, and Advanced Space Academy for older teens—plus Aviation Challenge and Robotics Camp tracks. Campers stay in dormitory-style housing and build rockets, fly simulated missions, and train on astronaut simulators.

Powered by GoogleI enrolled in Adult Space Camp, and it was an amazing experience. I met some great people, learned a lot, and got to do fun activities. If you've ever wanted to experience astronaut training, I highly recommend it. You'll leave with a wealth of knowledge and incredible memories!
Need better disability accessibility when it comes to parents wanting to get to their destination easily without having to go around from the hotel if possible.
I just picked up my two kids from a week of camp. The two kids instantly wanted to enroll for the next week, which their actions explains that they had fun. During camp I have proper communication from through email, my kids do not have communication devices, but camp provides the opportunity for kids to call home every night. The camp has variety of options in the same week, my two kids get into 2 different programs as they have different interest. They have small complaints that it is really school....which mean they have fun plus learning something which I love. I have seen my kids make friends and they can learn to be independent in taking care of themselves and have self awareness. My kids didn't have a compliant with the food but they said the beds were a uncomfortable but this is good training for them. The camp is good and we will come back next year.
Really fun and has a lot of teamwork and hands on experiences. Counselors and staff are great people too. Thanks for the best week ever.
This is the 2nd year our child has attended Space Camp and his first year attending Aviation Challenge. They absolutely love this place, the kids has activities planned all day. Activities like ISS resupply missions, scuba diving, flight simulations and much much more. The team building aspect is on point. Considering it’s 6 days 5 nights with meals and lodging the cost is on point. If you have a child who likes space, or flying I would recommend they attend a week, they won’t forget it.
