What to say about SSDC? To say my kid had the absolute best summer of his life doesn't seem strong enough. This camp is the Rolls Royce of day camps and you get what you pay for. Everyday my kid came home ecstatic, having learned a new skill or made a new friend - this camp has absolutely everything and I cannot speak highly enough about the staff, the programs and the facilities. It was an absolutely AMAZING summer and we will 100% be back in 2026. My 7 year old was almost in tears when he came off the bus the last day - "I can't believe it's over - I miss everyone so much already!" - every single day of the 8 weeks was the best day of the Summer. This camp is expensive but again - you get what you pay for. We are so thrilled to be members of the SSDC family!!!!!!!

As a parent, I can honestly say Southampton Summer Camp has been one of the best experiences for my three children. From day one, the staff made us feel completely at ease. They are warm, attentive, and truly go above and beyond to make every camper feel special. You can tell they love what they do, and it shows in the way they care for the kids and keep the energy positive and fun every single day. The activities are incredible — there’s such a wide variety that my children come home each afternoon excited to tell me about something new. Whether it’s swimming, zip lining, sports, games, or the special theme days, there’s never a dull moment. It’s the perfect mix of learning, play, and friendship. What I love most is the confidence and joy I’ve seen in my child since starting camp. They’ve made great friends, tried things they might not have otherwise, and built memories that will last long after the summer ends. I can’t thank the Southampton Summer Camp staff enough for creating such a safe, welcoming, and fun environment. We are so grateful for this camp and look forward to coming back every year!

My boys go there for 3 years now and love it. The grounds are amazing! There are so much to do: swim, games, sports, lake, fishing, cooking classes, theater, stem etc.. Boys come home well fed, happy, and excited every single day! Staff is very flexible with last minute transportation or any other personal arrangements. Thank you SSDC! indeed a happy place!

In 1985, I was nervous to get on the bus which came directly to my house to pick me up. Much to my surprise, it turned out to be a blast. Most of my childhood friends were made there. The tradition continues with my older daughter being a camper for many years, with this summer being a C.I.T. The camp director, Lindsay, is one of a kind and is always there for everyone. Her flexibility and willingness to make each camper have the best time of their lives while making any arrangements for a child in need of a hug, a friend, or just someone to talk to makes her truly be the glue of the camp.

It’s hard to put in this short review to describe how much we love SSDC. This camp is pure magic. It’s my boys first year here and I the peace and joy I feel as a parent sending my boys here every day has made this summer for my family an absolute joy. I look forward to the daily text I receive from their counselors and all the videos posted online showing what a wonderful experience they are having. My boys come home full of fun stories about their experiences. They also have grown so much as little people in such a short time. Their confidence is higher, they love all the new people they have met and they are a bit more independent. SSDC has sooo much to offer all individual personalities. This is the place to be. I only wish they had a camp like this for the parents!
