(I wish there was an option for MORE than "five stars"!) South Dayton School of Dance is - simply put - an AMAZING dance studio! We joined the South Dayton "family" just over five years ago and have greatly enjoyed our experience, to date! The school is professionally managed and is producing not only incredibly accomplished dancers, but also self-assured, empowered individuals! Our daughters have learned SO much from the talented, dedicated, and student-centered instructors! South Dayton is a classy, friendly studio that has honestly become our daughters' "home away from home". So thankful for the past five years and looking forward to many more!

I began dancing at South Dayton School of Dance at the age four, and continued through their dance program until I graduated high school. I spent six years as a member of their company, South Dayton Dance Theatre. Throughout my time there I was given the opportunity to learn a variety of styles, and gain a solid dance foundation for my future. I also choreographed a work for the first company that was then taken to Regionals Dance America in Montreal. They prepare you for a life of teaching, choreographing, and dancing in a higher education or a professional setting, but in addition to that they prepare you for life. Your child learns time management, networking, trust, respect, and so much more. South Dayton is not just a place that your kid comes to dance and then comes home and forgets about it until next class. While there they will build friendships that last a lifetime. I am now 22 and just graduated with a BFA in dance, and I still come back to my South Dayton family and take or teach classes. Its hard to find a studio with so much invested in its kids. At South Dayton it isn't about who will win competitions, it's about creating beautiful artists and good people.

South Dayton School of Dance is a wonderful dance school! My daughter is 11 years old and has been dancing for 7 years. She has been attending SDSD for 3 years. The instructors are very knowledgeable, truly care about the dancers and strive to help them accomplish their goals. Every year the dance school and company put on a professional-like Nutcracker production. This is a wonderful experience for any serious minded dancer. The Nutcracker production can not only be compared to the local professional companies production,  but in my opinion, is even better! I am so grateful that we found SDSD and look forward to all that the future will bring my daughter and her dancing career with the knowledge and instruction that she has received while attending this wonderful school!!!

We have been a part of the South Dayton dance family for the past six years. Our daughter continues to grow, learn, and develop her talent so far beyond what we had hoped. The teachers push the dancers to be their best. The classes are challenging and inspiring. There are plenty of performance opportunities and chances for the dancers to make lifelong friends. We really think of South Dayton as our dance home.
