Sonshine Learning Center, the child-care ministry of Christ Church in Bartlett, runs a full-time summer camp for school-age children when public schools are out. Operating since 2001 in a Christian setting, it uses the A Beka curriculum for a structured academic and recreational program. The center primarily operates as a year-round childcare provider.

Powered by GoogleNo problems. We picked the place due to the care shown by the staff. We’re completely impressed and our child is loved and well cared for.
We have been with this facility for about a year. I was so nervous switching my three boys to someplace new because they had grown accustomed to our previous facility. Deanna the director is phenomenal. She was so kind and patient and helped ease my nervous mama heart. My kids love it here and have grown so much with the help of their teachers here. I can go to work and know my kids are safe and loved. Highly recommend.
My son was on the waitlist for the summer program. The director Lisa stated she was sending us over the information and had room for him. She was informed of his Autism and him needing assistance with using the toilet. She said it would be fine and would call us right back. It was clear in that moment that she no longer wanted him to attend. We never received any information by email or mail. She also never called us back. My wife emailed multiple times and has been ignored. We spoke on March 7th and have heard nothing back. Discriminating against a child with disabilities is illegal. What a horrible thing to do knowing we have no where for him to go during summer break.
We have loved our experience with Sonshine Learning Center. I have two boys there and they have loved ALL of their teachers. The prices are affordable and they always have so much fun!
My 8 yr old son goes here during the summer and it’s been really nice to keep him active while we work. My 4 yr old loves her class and the teachers/care providers. They are in bigger groups, but they seem to have a lot of fun while still having some learning time.
