Silverado Little League

In my experience, this league is managed by individuals who are more concerned with their own 'success' and have lost sight of the magic of competition and the long term benefits this once in a lifetime experience can mean to young players later in their baseball journey. They have, in effect, told the players in their league that they aren't good enough to compete against the other Little Leagues in Las Vegas this year. Due to this, I feel they have zero concern for the players effected by their decisions and due to said decisions, have stolen a life experience from players that will never get the opportunity again. It also seems, from my experience as an assistant coach, to be a deeply rooted 'old boys club.' I highly recommend keeping your children out of their programs, unless you're part of 'the club.' If an alternative exists like NYS or i9, I would recommend that.
