Ms. Shiva is truly an amazing art teacher. My son is on the autism spectrum, and ever since he started learning from her, his drawing skills have been improving every single week. She teaches so well, but more importantly, she understands children with autism. With so much patience and love, she guides my son through his artwork. She has incredible energy—always positive—and that energy has been such a big help to my child. Since meeting her, he has grown to genuinely love drawing. I can clearly see his progress week by week, and I am beyond grateful for everything she has done. I am truly, deeply thankful to her.

My 9-year-old daughter has been taking art lessons from Shiva for the past two years. We are very fortunate to have found Shiva as her art teacher. We had tried many other art classes before joining Shiva’s InnerArt Studio. I noticed that most of the art schools have art teachers who may lack either a strong artistic talent to keep kids motivated or the teaching skill to convey their ideas to children. Shiva has an excellent blend of all the great qualities an art teacher for kids need: She is naturally talented, has lots of ideas, is extremely humble to teach and direct students ranging from very young kids to teenagers and adults. Through my daughter’s growth as an artist, I have observed that Shiva conveys techniques and her knowledge to students very clearly, and at the same time, gives individual attention to every student! She does a brilliant job in identifying each student’s strengths and puts a lot of effort in nourishing them. She is a person with excellent energy and good attitude and these traits clearly drive the class very positively. She motivates and mentors the students in a very comfortable way. My daughter liked Shiva’s class from the very beginning. Shiva made my daughter feel very comfortable, and helped her in strengthening her artistic mind. In the last two years, my daughter won several art contests in school as well as the Young Art Contest in the national level. I am thankful to Shiva for teaching and guiding my daughter to be able to recognize herself as an artist. I feel that anyone who is trying to find an art teacher for their children should definitely try Shiva’s class. She has an extremely flexible attendance policy, which has always worked out for our schedule. I recommend her classes 100% .
