In December 2023 I paid in full for a pool bond. Shellcrest Bond application states that all fully paid Bonds will be issued at the start of the next summer season. It’s now August 2024 and after repeated emails I still do not have a bond. In the last email i was told by a board member that a lot of people haven’t received their bonds and was not able to provide a timeframe for receipt. When I reached out to others who are in the same situation on Shellcrest Facebook page I was blocked. This is a fraudulent organization. They take your money and do not produce the promised goods.

Just keeping this at the TOP of their reviews. It's now YEAR 5 for me, and trust me I'm not the only one who they owe, asking for and being denied the money they owe me. It's not about the money anymore EVERYONE needs to stay away from this place because YOU WILL NEVER GET YOUR BOND money. However, if you love pissing your money down the drain this is the place for you. Another year comes and goes and this place has me waiting on my bond money for 4 years now. Stay away from this poorly run place.

Prior to this summer I had only visited once and truthfully was not impressed. What a difference being a member and going regularly makes! Every person I've spoken to there was genuinely friendly and I don't think any other swim club offers so many recreational activities for families as Shellcrest does.

Shellcrest has changed quite a bit during my 12 years of membership. It has become unkept and pretentious. The weeds and bugs are out of control, there are many unsupervised children running amuck, along with immature and racist lifeguards and an inept board. If you don't like drama, don't go there.
