The Shawnee Theatre (Shawnee Summer Theatre of Greene County) is a nonprofit community theatre in Bloomfield with more than 60 years of summer productions. It runs Summer Kids Camp and Summer Teen Camp programs in which young performers are cast in and stage full musicals such as Seussical and Oklahoma!.

The Frozen performance on 11/8 was one of the cutest performance I've had the pleasure of experiencing here! Although, the "Finding Nemo" last year is tough to beat, this was right up there with it! These actors and theater technicians have a very short, intense rehearsal process to learn their lines, create their characters, and build the sets - it's extremely impressive. They put up 5 to 6 different shows each summer along with a kids camp. Definitely check them out!
