Merom Camp and Retreat Center is a Christian overnight camp on the Indiana-Illinois border south of Terre Haute, centered on College Hall, an 1859 five-story building that once housed Union Christian College. Its summer program is a series of week-long and half-week sleepaway sessions: Faith Journeys (3rd grade through high school graduates), Pathfinders (1st-3rd grade, half week), Creative Spirit theater camp and its Backstage Pass set-design counterpart (6th-12th grade), All Ages (3rd-12th grade), and Just You & Me, Kid, a starter camp for children 4 and up who attend with an adult. Sessions mix Bible study, worship and service projects with games, crafts, low ropes and outdoor play, and each is led by a named volunteer director. Registration and payment are due one week before camp.
