Powered by GoogleMy rising 1st grade is incredibly picky about summer camps and he just absolutely loved this camp. He would come home showing us what fun art crafts they made or tell us about the interesting science experiments they did that day. I would definitely recommend this camp to art and science lovers!
I sent my 8 year old to the Radical Reactions week this summer and he loved it!! The counselors and student counselor create a really fun and calm environment for the kids to play, learn and enjoy the day. I didn’t hear a single complaint when I picked him up at the end of each day and he didn’t have the usual camp burn out feeling. He came home with two new experiments in his bag and had great things to say about the other counselors. We loved it so much I signed up for an additional week.
Our rising 1st grader has LOVED Science of Fun! She attended four weeks of camp and came home every single day happily chattering about the science she has learned, the activities/projects she did, and all the fun she had. The camp is extremely well organized, the curriculum is top-notch (and never repetitive!), and the staff are wonderful beyond words. Our kid has already asked to come back next summer.
Science of Fun has been an amazing camp! From the organization and communication to the activities, we’ve been so impressed and will return next year. Our 6-year-old asked if he could write Ms. Kris, the founder and director, a “special thank you card” because “she makes every day so fun”.
My daughter (6th grade) and son (1st Grade) both attended the Science of Fun camp last summer and both really enjoyed it! I really appreciated the onboarding process for the CITs to act as an interview to give these kids their first taste of "how to sell myself and speak to what makes me a good fit for this position". My daughter also had to fill out an application describing her personality and asking why she wanted to work with kids. A great way to prepare for her first real job interview! My son, who attended as a student, loved the different themes that always included hands on play. The added after care option helped this working mom out A LOT! I am so happy we found this camp and look forward to my kids attending again this summer.
