We had a great time on the field trip! There is a lot to do there. Very interactive and fun. Mixes play with learning and my lids all loved it! They switch out exhibits ever so often. There is also a gift shop wire lots of different stuff.

We visited the museum on a Thursday afternoon. Located inside Union Station makes it easy. There is ample paid parking in the garage across the street, and a skybridge connects the garage and the museum entrance level. You can pre-purchase tickets online, or they have easy to use digital kiosks at entry. We received free admission via reciprocity as members of another ASTC (Association of Science and Technology Centers) institution back in our hometown. The first thing we saw was the new dinosaur exhibit, which was awesome, because dinosaurs will always be awesome. After you pass through that exhibit you enter a huge multi-level space that is sectioned off for different science areas or experiences. My family of four split off into 2 groups and explored everything. My son and husband enjoyed the human body section and physics, while my daughter and I had fun in the illusions section. My kids also liked exploring the huge treehouse and small dinosaur dig site. Everyone had a great time in the outside backyard with lots of things to climb on and play, including two ziplines. Overall, great museum. Fun for families visiting or locals.

Incredible science museum- what a fun place! My perspective is from a homeschooling mom of 3 young boys ages 7-13. Check the hours before you go, they are closed on Mondays. My boys spent over 3.5 hours here and loved every moment. They loved the hands on aspect of everything- they were learning and didn’t even know it! The highlights were the circus game area, water area, robot area, indoor playground and the maker studio. For the younger kiddos they have a separate area for itty bitty ones to have a safe place to play - how wonderful! The train area was a Huge hit! An absolute must see if your family enjoys trains. Pro tip - go during the weekdays there are WAY less people and you can enjoy all the exhibits and truly enjoy the space. Honestly, every staff member we interacted with was fabulous- so nice and so welcoming. There’s a wonderful gift shop and some restaurants inside union station if you want to make a day of it. This is a place you can enjoy many many times, so consider a membership if you think you’ll come back several times in a year.

I love Science City and not just because I’m a geek. They have something for everyone! I purchase the annual pass for my family as this is possibly the best place to take your kids especially on the colder months when the kiddos need to get their wiggles out. We spend at least 2 hours each visit and never see all there is to see which makes it even more exciting on future trips; adventures are abundant! The fun is interactive, even for the parents. It is such a joy to see the safe fun and learning the kids can participate in.

If you're wanting to feel the magic of the holiday season, this is the place to be! From unique light displays to over the top photo ops this experience has it all! Book tickets on line in advance. It is a crowded venue, but there is so much to see and do. The exhibits have such intricate detail. There's no way you will leave within a smile on your face!
