I literally cannot recommend this place enough to all of our friends. I've watched our kiddo go from frustration playing basic cords to starting her own band and playing full on solos. It is far more than just having someone teach you how to play something, the school sets up a program that teaches you how to learn and progress thru the basics and then teaches you how to keep growing. If you are looking for a place that will help give you community around learning this is the spot! Join Rock 101, get up on stage have a blast! School of Rock West LA has state of the art facilities and wonderful instructors! The class structure of a 30-minute private lesson and a group lesson accelerates the learning and fun. As a parent, I appreciate the WiFi lounge allowing me to work while my son is in class and I can easily run errands or pick up dinner at the local shops and restaurants nearby. I also love how the School of Rock App makes practicing at home easy. My 9-year-old son is having a blast learning to play the electric guitar and I highly recommend School of Rock West LA.

The instructors my daughter has worked with have been infinitely patient and kind. They're always full of encouragement while still reinforcing important character traits like commitment and teamwork. I have seen a big boost in her self-confidence and she's proud of herself for overcoming her stage fright. As a parent, I like the way SOR communicates her progress with me. It really helps that they send out recaps after class and let me know what to help her focus on for the week. Now that she's moved into the performance program we're all really excited to see her with the band on stage at one of the amazing venues! It's such a cool goal to work towards and that really inspires the kids!
