God lives here! Regardless how many times you've been there, you always seem to get chills entering and regret leaving . This is probably one of the best camps you could attend. The rustic backwoods feel allows you to escape the world as you know it, and enjoy life without stress. The camp staff is very friendly and the whole camp makes you feel right at home. There is also a variety of activities offered here such as, a swimming pool with 2 lifeguards on duty, canoe lake, fishing lake, game room, disk golf, hiking trails, a gaga pit, a giant multi-purpose building, human foosball, 9-square in the air, a foam pit/bubble pit, canteen, and many more. And, it's not only for the kids. Camp Schafer is a perfect setting for retreats, picnics, and many other social gatherings. I have attended camp here for the past 7 years and seen many lives affected by this wonderful ministry (including mine). I hope your's is next!
