Undoubtedly, this is a reputable dance school, as evidenced by the honors it has received over the years. However, this institution may not be suitable for everyone. If your child does not possess a natural talent for dancing, it would be advisable to consider alternative schools, as the teachers here tend to focus their corrections solely on students in the team or company, leaving others to fend for themselves. The evident bias against regular students contradicts the essence of education, which is why I have rated it only 3 out of 10.

SCD is amazing. The instructors are very professional and encouraging. The classes are fun but very educational. The performances are top notch and the communication between the studio and parents is very good as well. I cannot say enough positive things about Scenic City Dance!! We love the staff and the training our daughter gets here! My daughter started at age 2 and it has been almost 2 years and she is still just as excited every time we go as she was the first time. Ms. Natalie is so sweet and patient with the Pixie Dust Academy kids and I’m amazed at how much my daughter has learned! We can’t recommend it enough! We will be taking lessons here as long as we have a child interested in dance!

My daughters moved to Scenic City Dance 9 years ago, and it was without a doubt, one of the best decisions we have ever made for them. SCD provides both a wonderful recreational program for dancers that are just getting started or not interested in competition, and a highly competitive elite dance program. My girls have gained life skills from their time at this studio that will benefit them through adulthood. They have learned valuable lessons in responsibility, time management, working with a group/team, dedication, how to handle success as well as disappointment, the value of hard work, and so much more. Not only is this the best dance facility around, it is also a family. Every member of the SCD staff is an inspiration and a role model to all the children they work with, and they truly care about all them. We are so proud every time our girls take the stage to showcase the art they love and the passion Scenic City Dance has inspired in them.
