Powered by GoogleSaratoga Springs Youth Ballet offers one of the best dance programs in the area for dancers from Pre-Ballet to Pre-Professional. The combination of knowledgeable and skilled instructors with a kind and caring environment is truly wonderful. They offer great performance opportunities for all levels. Highly recommend!
Honestly, this place was absolutely the most judgmental place my daughter's have ever been to. We utilized the "scholarship" program unknowingly that we would be talked down upon. Going through a hardship where our home didn't have water for two months and we were living out of hotels. It was made to be a massive issue. Even though the singular class they missed during this event was made up that Saturday. This tension grew to the point where my daughter would come home saying Mrs. Santos and Joan would say negative things about her mom and dad. This was something very consistent every single week. My other daughter's teacher Mrs Dunkel is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Honestly, if it wasn't for her we would have taken our daughter's somewhere else years ago. The concerts "shows" consist of adults jumping around stage with the older kids and younger kids getting what seems like minimal show time. We shouldn't be paying to see grown adults jumping around a stage in place of our children. Regardless, there is other ballet schools that are polite and care for the wellbeing and education of our children first and foremost. Thankfully my daughters experience wasn't ruined and they still wish to do ballet just somewhere where when they go they aren't being told negative things about their parents. At the end of the day we are all doing our best.
We cannot speak highly enough of our daughter’s experience at SSYB! The instructors are not only excellent teachers and choreographers, but they also make the classes challenging, fun, and energetic. Our three-year-old daughter is thriving in the creative movement class with Ms. Cristiane. Her attention and independence skills have grown tremendously from the beautiful structure of her classes. Ms. Christiane is genuinely magical in how her class moves effortlessly from one activity to the next. The students don’t realize how hard they are working because she makes everything so much fun. If you’re looking for an environment where your child will fall in love with ballet, this is the place.
Our family feels so blessed to be part of Saratoga Springs Youth Ballet! With two daughters enrolled, it’s been a joy watching them grow as dancers and individuals. This community fosters discipline, creativity, and confidence, and seeing them shine on stage has been incredible. We’re so grateful for the dedicated teachers and supportive environment. Highly recommend to any family seeking a nurturing, professional dance program!
My daughter has been dancing with the co-directors for over 8 years. They (along with the other instructors) have provided a top notch pre-professional education in ballet. We highly recommend this studio!
